You know how there’s that one guy in the group who’s always the life of the party? You’re looking at him: Donnie Fox, head of customer development for Money, Baby! at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. “I’ve always been that guy where people look at me and are like, ‘What’s wrong with this guy?’ Then they get to know me and they’re like, ‘Wow, this guy is awesome!’” says Fox.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Fox knows this city through and through, and he’s a 15-year veteran of the nightlife industry, working at almost every top nightclub and dayclub in the city. He even spent a few years working in the L.A. scene. “I’m always out and about,” he says. “Ya know—out there shaking hands and kissing babies.” If you haven’t noticed yet, Fox not only is a ball of good energy, but a jokester, too. “You can put me in a toilet, and I’ll make a good time out of it,” he says, laughing.

It’s all this personality that helps fuel his job at Money, Baby! Essentially, it’s Fox’s responsibility to bring the party to the hybrid nightclub-meets-sports bar-meets lounge. He brings in new business, makes sure the crowd is always having fun—“You can find me on the dance floor, taking shots with people, on the mic,” he says—and spreading the positive party vibes.

“I’ve always been an entertainer since I was a kid,” Fox says. “I like being around people. I’ve always thought if you can still laugh in life, life is going to be OK. And if I can bring that to the people, it makes me happy. People know that I’m always going to show them a good time.”

Fox has had a lot of good times over his career. “But out of the 15 years of my nightlife career, this is the favorite position I’ve had,” he says. “Money, Baby! encompasses everything that Vegas didn’t have. Nightlife? You can do it here. Want to have a fun night having drinks with friends? Do it here. Watch games during the day? Here, you can do all this.” And Fox is ready to welcome you.

Libation: Money Mule

Money, Baby! is also a top spot for its food and beverage program. Yes, they have the bar staples, but they also enlisted the help of Food Network star chef Beau MacMillan to create a menu with gourmet hot dogs, pizzas with toppings like black truffles, the Beyond burger and even New York strip steak and seafood dishes. The specialty cocktails are just as handcrafted, like the popular Money Mule, served in a copper mug and mixed with Figenza Mediterranean Fig vodka, Fever Tree ginger beer and fresh-squeezed lime.

Benefit: Money, Baby! offers a daily happy hour from 4-7 p.m. with $5 draft beers and 50% off all starters.
