You can either look at it as the hottest or the coolest place to hang this season—the watery playground Influence, The Pool at The Linq.
The 21-and-over dayclub has many amenities to choose from, starting with 10 grand cabanas equipped with chaise lounges, personal electronic safes, TVs and refrigerators stocked with bottled water. You can even request a beer pong table be brought to your cabana for a friendly alcohol-fueled game.
This season, Influence goes bigger and better with its cabana offerings, switching its REQ room into one giant cabana that can fit groups up to 30 people. It’s an air-conditioned space with pool tables, shuffleboard, flat-screen TVs and awesome views of the Linq Promenade below. During the week the REQ room is available to all guests, but Friday through Sunday guests can book it as a private cabana.
For those looking to really soak in the poolside lifestyle, roll right from your room out to the pool deck when you book one of the 18 cabana rooms. Your patio also serves as a spacious and luxurious cabana with umbrellas for ample shade, sectional seating for maximum comfort, TVs and staff service throughout the day. Other amenities at the pool include lily pads and 35 poolside daybed rentals. Every daybed is equipped with a personal safe and waterproof compartment to keep clothes, shoes and bags dry. There’s also an intimate above-ground pool with see-through windows on each end.
A center bar seats more than two dozen guests, and you can order everything from draft beer to frozen and signature cocktails. And for those counting calories, the menu has a new skinny cocktails section with low-cal recipes like the Skinny Soda, Lime Spritzer and the Strawberry Splash.
Guests can also enjoy live DJ performances and weekly parties. Specials include Champagne Sundays, where guests get a buy-one-get-one-free bottle of champagne and bottomless mimosa and Bloody Mary cocktails at the bar, and Tropical Saturdays, headlined by the popular Cam Colston and DJ Exodus is one of Influence’s high-energy parties where the sounds and fun get turned up to 11!
