Center’s new faces reflect a fresh outlook
The one constant at The Forum Shops at Caesars is the constant change there to keep the upscale shopping center fresh with new fashions, beauty stores and jewelry companies. Most noticeably, the Atlantis fountain show near The Cheesecake Factory underwent a makeover of its 11-minute free animatronic show. In all, 14 new video LED screens were added, along with updated costumes.
Five stores went through remodels to freshen up their façades. Jewelry retailers David Yurman and Pandora, handbag and shoe specialist Tod’s and Peter Lik Gallery renovated their locations with Tory Burch moving into a new, larger space and chic shoe brand Jimmy Choo expanding almost threefold. Even the shopping center itself is renovating, with its front façade moving out toward Las Vegas Boulevard to help relieve pedestrian congestion.
The excitement doesn’t end there. Five new boutiques and restaurants are on the agenda for 2014. Blancpain brings its watchmaking skills with its first stand-alone store in Las Vegas. British leather goods designer Mulberry also brings its first store to Las Vegas with a boutique opening this fall. With Kate Middleton as a frequent shopper, the brand is a good bet to take off in Sin City.
Makeup artist and fashion photographer François Nars also jumps into the Vegas scene for the first time with the arrival of NARS Cosmetics. Designer Ralph Lauren will also bring his Polo Ralph Lauren brand to The Forum Shops at Caesars, and with a second Border Grill from Too Hot Tamales stars Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, expect a summer debut, replete with lunch, dinner and brunch, all Mexican-style.
