No excuses; get a head start on your day with breakfast all over Las Vegas. Whether you just want to start your day off with eggs or carb-load with pancakes and French toast to feed your hangover, Vegas has a breakfast for you. In fact, here are nine.

Verdana

Verdana

1. Giada at The Cromwell

Giada De Laurentiis is in the kitchen about every other week at her first and only restaurant, and that includes breakfast from 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. daily. Order up her specialty dishes such as a salmon cake Benedict, Italian hash or a sunrise polenta waffle with pancetta, béchamel and two sunny-side up eggs.

2. Bouchon at The Venetian

Thomas Keller’s breakfast brings French delights from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Start with pastries, and then add to the carb overload with brioche dorée, a French toast with vanilla custard, caramelized apples and bananas, or gaufres au levain, sourdough waffles with strawberries.

3. Veranda at Four Seasons Hotel

This newly renovated restaurant dropped the “h” from its name but kept its breakfast every Monday to Friday from 6:30-11 a.m. Indulge in limón ricotta pancakes or the tiramisu croissant French toast. Other worthy options include the breakfast panini or house-smoked Atlantic salmon on a bagel with cream cheese.

4. Du-pars at the Golden Gate

Order breakfast around the clock at this classic diner inside the Golden Gate. Pancakes are the specialty, so pick the buttermilk hotcakes in stacks of three or five, and choose French toast made with thick white bread and served with blueberry or boysenberry compote.

Hash House a Go Go

5. Hash House A Go Go at The Linq, Plaza and Rio

This diner specializes in giant servings of farm-fed breakfast. The massive plates, seemingly suited for an army, include Andy’s sage fried chicken Benedict, sausage gravy and buttermilk biscuits, or the griddled Hash House meat loaf with two eggs. Hung over? Go ahead and order the O’Hare of the dog with a 24-ounce Budweiser in a bag and a side of bacon.

6. Rí Rá at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place

The Irish sure know how to serve up a breakfast worthy of your worst hangover. This Irish pub puts breakfast on the agenda from 8-11 a.m. Monday through Friday with the Kilcullen omelet with house-brined corned beef, an Irish Benedict made with potato cakes and rashers, and a breakfast boxty, the potato sandwich with Hollandaise sauce, Irish sausage and egg.

7. Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The Linq

A hangover recovery Bloody Mary is a must for any morning after, and Guy Fieri gives you options including the amount of heat and garnishes such as pineapple, pickled veggies and candied bacon. If it’s food you need to sop up that alcohol, get there for the 8 a.m. daily opening and order the chicken fried bacon biscuits and gravy or the “Dragon’s Breath” chili cornbread Benedict to knock that hangover out.

The Griddle Cafe

8. Crossroads at House of Blues

Breakfast runs from an early 7 a.m. to late 1 p.m. at this Southern joint, where you can sate your hunger pangs with Southern specialties such as cheddar cheese biscuits and gravy and “Big Ole Flapjacks” made from scratch. Go local with the Vegas omelet with Swiss cheese, Black Forest ham, spinach, garlic and tomatoes.

9. The Griddle Cafe at SLS Las Vegas

Massive pancakes are the specialty at this SoCal import that serves breakfast at all hours, including around the clock on Fridays and Saturdays. Try the big Good Ol’ Fashioned buttermilk pancake or make it fancier with the Banananana with brown sugar and bananas.
