Drink in the spirit of the season with new holiday-themed cocktails at The Dorsey at The Venetian and Electra Cocktail Club at The Palazzo. All four signature cocktails will be available at both lounges through Dec. 31.

Start with the Roman Holiday, mixed with Michter’s Straight Rye whiskey, Zirbenz Stone Pine liqueur, Petite Canne sugar cane syrup, Angostura bitters and a garnish of lemon twist and rosemary sprig. For gin and negroni lovers, try this twist on the classic, the Alpine Negroni. This bold-yet-smooth-tasting cocktail is a mix of Fords gin, Suze aperitif, Saler’s aperitif, Cocchi Americano aperitif, Génépy liqueur, crème de menthe and a pinch of salt. And for a hint of the familiar Old-Fashioned cocktail, try the Lion’s Tale Fix, a blend of Woodford Reserve bourbon whiskey, fresh lime, simple syrup, allspice dram and Angostura bitters that’s then poured over a heaping mound of crushed ice and garnished with freshly grated cinnamon, a cinnamon stick and a candy cane.

If there’s more than just yourself and your loved one imbibing (although safety guidelines mandate that no more than four people can be seated in your party), think about sharing the Yeats Punch Bowl. This giant cocktail is a blend of Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition blended Irish whiskey, Jamaican rum, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, sweetened ginger juice, allspice dram and club soda.

If you want to end or begin your night of drinking with some holiday sweets, you’re in luck, because also on both properties you’ll find themed desserts at Tao at The Venetian and Lavo at The Palazzo. Lavo’s signature 20-layer cake gets a holiday spin with red velvet cake and cream cheese filling and is topped with sugar snowflakes and chocolate jingle bells. There’s also Lavo’s Grinch’s Tartufo, a Neapolitan gelato cake covered in a Valrhona white chocolate shell in the shape of a Christmas tree ornament and topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. At Tao, take a seat in the lounge and order its famed fortune cookie dessert dressed up for the holidays. The giant cookie is filled with white and dark chocolate mousses and drizzled with chocolate and sprinkles with sugar snowflakes and served with seasonal fruit.
