Have you been noticing a pink flush recently? It’s not a light sunburn, but it is an opportunity to help with breast cancer awareness. During October, Vegas gets decidedly rosy with specials and events happening all month.

This year, Sugar Factory at Fashion Show has come out with its Think Pink Insane Milkshake (pictured). The over-the-top shake is topped with a pink whirly pop and pink crystal sprinkles. For each shake sold, Sugar Factory will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Similarly, Pinkbox, the gourmet doughnut retailer, is making a Pink Ribbon doughnut pink-frosted with pink sprinkles. And 10 percent of every doughnut purchased will be donated to the foundation. Find it at three Las Vegas Valley locations.

And Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria & Deli in Summerlin is donating a portion of sales from a new menu item, Prosciutto e Melone. will be donated to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada. The appetizer features cantaloupe, Italian prosciutto, and a side of imported olives. The restaurant is open for brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour; reservations at 702.360.3358.
