Gordon Ramsay restaurants like Gordon Ramsay Steak and Hell’s Kitchen might seem posh, but Ramsay also knows how to appeal to the working-class heroes who’d rather spend their time in pubs. At Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, the celebrity chef offers an experience that’s down-to-earth and simple.

You won’t find too many Ramsay staples on the menu here. No scallops, but there’s Maine lobster pot pie. No risotto, but there’s crispy chicken paillard. No beef Wellington, but there’s Ramsay’s delectable take on fish and chips. And if you’re looking for something meatier, an 8-ounce filet and a 12-ounce New York strip also make the menu. Yet, you might decide to ignore all those elevated pub dishes and instead opt for the short rib kettle chip nachos.

Ramsay’s pub also has a healthy beer list, with more than 25 brews on draft. If you get stuck, Guinness is always a fine choice. A few local brews make the menu, too— beers by Bad Beat, Big Dog’s and Tenaya Creek breweries. Towards the end of your meal, you’ll find comfort knowing some things never change for Ramsay: For dessert, you’ll find his signature sticky toffee pudding.
