As chef Michael Mina has quietly built a restaurant empire in Las Vegas, you would think one of his four restaurants would stand above the rest, but each one is so uniquely different that they’re impossible to rank. It depends on mood and taste. So, if you’re looking for delicious French-inspired comfort food in Las Vegas, Mina’s Bardot Brasserie is the perfect choice.

The prime steak tartare is a favorite starter among diners. It’s served traditionally with egg yolk on top, along with crisp, homemade waffle fries. If that option is a little too raw for you, the caviar deviled eggs or the chef’s selection of cheeses are other delectable options.

As an entrée, steak and fries is the ultimate French comfort food, and Bardot offers several cuts to pair with hand-cut fries, such as filet mignon, double-cut ribeye or a 10-ounce flat iron steak. But if meat isn’t your thing, opt for the gnocchi Parisienne, topped with Roquefort cheese, acorn squash, pomegranate and sage. When it’s time for dessert, finish off your meal with the espresso crème brûlée served with fresh madeleines.
