This slice of culinary heaven specializes in nothing but the best in every category. You’ll get a sense of that perfection in the dining room itself, perfectly appointed with nothing out of place and a super-attentive waitstaff. Don’t waste any time in getting started here with one of the restaurant’s custom cocktails. We’re partial to the lychee raspberry bellini, so crisp and delicious with prosecco, lychee and raspberry, or the JG Vesper, a vodka-forward delight with gin, aperitif and lemon.

Starters run the gamut from surf (char-grilled octopus or bacon-wrapped shrimp) to turf (Japanese wagyu carpaccio with black truffle fritters). There’s also a terrific crispy sushi sampler, accompanied by chipotle mayonnaise. One thing they all have in common: The presentation is dazzling. You’ll always have your camera at the ready.

And the same goes for the main courses. Obviously, steaks are king here, from filet mignons to bone-in ribeyes (all USDA Prime from Colorado) and Japanese and American wagyu (pair them with either the saltwater prawns or roasted bone marrow to really put things over the top). But if your tastes run more to fowl, don’t sleep on the crunchy organic chicken, another great presentation served with spinach and hot sauce.

Of course, sometimes you just want a nice burger. Nothing wrong with that. And there’s definitely nothing wrong with the JG Cheeseburger, topped with truffle mayonnaise, brie and a yuzu pickle.

End this unforgettable night with dessert. Like the rest of the menu, it’s spectacular, especially the market citrus—accompanied by yuzu cream, white chocolate and tropical fruits.
