I almost cried when I heard that Mesa Grill was closing. No more delicious tamales for me! Imagine my relief and excitement when the opening of Amalfi by Bobby Flay was announced. And it has more than lived up to expectations since opening last spring.
Not only will you find fresh fish, which you can choose yourself with guidance from a resident fishmonger, but other inspired dishes like buffalo mozzarella with charred lemon leaves, gnocchi al forno, squid ink fettucine and orecchiette with eggplant Bolognese. If you aren’t up for pasta or fish, steak and jidori chicken round out the entrées. And the Lemon, Lemon, Lemon presents lemons three ways—cakes, custard and crisps (all delicious)!
