We love a good bacon debate! Some like it chewy; others like it burned to a crisp; others prefer bacon bits on their salad. There are few food items more universally loved than bacon, and you can look forward to having it exactly as you want at the recently opened Bacon Nation downtown!
The menu by chef Josh Green has prepared items you couldn’t possibly be prepared for. For instance, how does a bacon flight, with your choice of 13 unique flavors (like tajin and everything bagel) sound? Or how about a reverse BLT, where the bread in the sandwich is—you guessed it—bacon? And Green is only getting started.
And lest you think bacon is only for breakfast, Bacon Nation is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, enjoy bacon flavor in the Famous French Toast Boxes, served in a box made entirely of French toast. For lunch, the D Burger satisfies, topped with cheddar cheese and bacon-wrapped jalapenos. For dinner, don’t miss the meat options like bone-in pork chops, country-fried pork tenderloin and chicken Parm.
What would a bacon-themed restaurant be without bacon-themed desserts? Good luck choosing between the maple-bacon cheesecake, apple-bacon coffee cake or the bacon s’mores skillet, served with marshmallow fluff and candied bacon. If you want to go more adult, pretend you’re The King by pairing an Elvis milkshake (with Screwball peanut butter whiskey) with a deep-fried banana, peanut butter and bacon sandwich.
