Earlier this year, one of the most popular spots for a daily brunch on the Strip, Alexxa’s, debuted a seasonal brunch, and lucky for you, it’s available every day. The restaurant sits Stripside, so it couldn’t be easier to get to if you are walking down Las Vegas Boulevard. It also has a great patio, which overlooks Fountains of Bellagio.
Being as you are probably on vacation, I’ve got to recommend you indulge in a shared, large-format cocktail. During the summer, these are the way to go—big, fruity, frothy vessels that will impress you and leave the whole table feeling good. Try the Strawberry Fields, a take on strawberry lemonade with Old Forester whiskey, strawberry purée, agave and lemon juice, or the Magick Dragon, with Midori, Apple Pucker liqueur, blue Curaçao liqueur, lemonade and Starry and Gold Luster Dust (fancy!). Bottomless mimosas and the Colossal Bloody Mary are other great sips to start with. (I also recommend the coffee, as it goes so well with brunch dishes.)
Sharing isn’t just limited to those big drinks, though. You’ll want to order a few starters, just to get a sampling of everything. The hummus is delicious, and comes with fragrant, puffy balloon bread, with za’taar adding a surprising flavor to each bite. Fruit plates are laden with berries, pineapple, blood oranges and apple, with a delicious, sweet sauce. Spinach dip and calamari go pretty fast as well.
One of the most refreshing salads is Alexxa’s chopped version, with bacon, avocado, Gorgonzola and tomato-, but it’s the white French dressing that puts it over the top for me. You can get protein added to any salad if you choose. And the caprese features heirloom tomatoes for great flavor.

For your entrées, ordering separately may be in order. Breakfast faves include the Cinnaroll waffle, a decadent bite with cream cheese icing. It’s so very good. A stack of fluffy signature pancakes is covered in blueberries and Chantilly cream while Brioche French toast, with berries and nuts, could almost be dessert. Huevos rancheros, prime rib French dip and the signature omelet with blue crab are worthy choices (there’s also a terrific veggie option!), but a variety of pizzas might be more your style. Try the prosciutto and fig pie, with balsamic vinegar and fig jam adding a delectable taste. The black tiger shrimp and grits are not to be missed-. The creamy, cheesy grits are so delightful with fragrant Cajun spice; it’s the grown-up version of the packets you might store in your pantry. And chicken and waffles makes a crunchy, satisfying bite with bourbon-maple syrup.
Hit up the dessert menu for shareables for all: an Oreo waffle sundae with rocky road brownies; New York-style cheesecake; or a 25-layer chocolate cake that’s chocolate everything—chocolate sponge cake, chocolate ganaché, chocolate-hazelnut cream and chocolate sauce. It’s a good thing it’s served with vanilla ice cream, or maximum chocolate level might be achieved.
