As part of your Las Vegas trip, we’re sure you’ve booked at least one special meal, one where your every need will be catered to, where the décor is striking and unique, and where the menu has exactly what you want—not to mention an award-winning wine menu. And Bistecca Italian Steakhouse at Tuscany Suites & Casino checks all of those boxes and then some.

The first thing you’ll notice upon entering is the striking interior, an intimate space divided in half by shelves that hold attractive bottles, bowls and more. Throughout the restaurant, impeccably appointed tables and booths all have great views of original artwork on the walls, courtesy of contemporary visual artist Patrizia Didiomete. This is a space you look forward to spending plenty of time in.

All your favorite salads are here, from burrata, served with pear and crispy prosciutto and accompanied by basil and tarragon purée and lemon oil, to hearts of palm, served with avocado, sweet onion, mixed greens, heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and capers in an Italian vinaigrette. You can also opt to have a Caesar salad prepared tableside, something we highly recommend if you’ve never experienced it.

The classics continue on the appetizer portion of the menu, from meatballs, made with veal, pork and beef and smothered in marinara, mozzarella and Parmesan, to shrimp cocktail made using tiger prawns and a lemon-scented cocktail sauce. Charcuterie fans will want to check out the antipasti misto, a chef’s selection of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by house-made giardiniera, Kalamata olives, Parmesan crostini and seasonal jam. Soooo good!

Now you’re ready for your entrée, and Bistecca has given every palate careful consideration. Meat lovers will appreciate how every steak here is prime grade beef, cooked to your exact specifications and garnished with cipollini onions and finished with Kobe beef fat. That means you’re getting even more flavor with your choice of filet mignon, boneless ribeye, porterhouse or New York strip, especially if you add on Oscar-style king crab.

Chicken fans have their choice of marsala-style, served with sauteed mushrooms, and piccata, made with Mary’s chicken, lemon and capers in a white wine reduction. Seafood aficionados can opt for either halibut, drizzled in a lemon butter sauce and basil aioli, or wild-caught salmon in puttanesca sauce.

How about some pasta? Bistecca has many splendid options, from house-made lobster ravioli to Sunday gravy pappardelle, prepared with a braised tomato ragu of beef and sausage. If you’re a fan of duck, Bistecca serves a ragu made with braised Muscovy duck and served with root vegetables and orecchiette.

There are so many dessert options, you may be tempted to get more than one. And that’s a path we heartily recommend, especially when it involves delights like a chocolate tart topped with candied hazelnuts, cheesecake with caramelized bananas and tiramisu made with almond cake, coffee syrup, mascarpone cream and milk chocolate.
