How many times have you come out of a production show, live performance or nightclub on the Strip and realized: “I’m pumped! I need something to keep this feeling going!” It’s a natural reaction to the adrenaline high you feel after all that excitement. And, usually, that feeling is accompanied by hunger and thirst. Luckily, there are more than enough options to satisfy both in Las Vegas. The city is filled with venues that stay open late in the night and early morning. Happy dining and drinking!
Best Friend (Park MGM. 702.730.6770. parkmgm.mgmresorts.com)
This eatery is a nod to celebrity chef Roy Choi’s Korean heritage, and fun is the key motif here until midnight Friday and Saturday. Enjoy selections from the “Dranks” menu like the Old Friend, made with Redemption rye, Don Julio añejo, Amaro Montenegro and bitters, while noshing on kogi tacos, slippery rice and garlic chicken. A true treat here can be found on the “Vegas-ish” portion of the menu: The Cowboy Chop, a 34-ounce bone-in ribeye.
Uno Mas Street Tacos + Spirits (SAHARA Las Vegas. 702.761.7000. saharalasvegas.com)
Mexican food rules anytime of day! This spot serves up great flavors on its late-night menu until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to addictive chips and salsa, there’s a terrific street taco deal—one for $7, two for $13 and three for $19—featuring wide-ranging flavors like quesabirria with consomé, chicken tinga or the spicy gringo (braised beef with morita salsa). For something that’s a bit more substantial, order the carne asada bowl.
Pub 365 (Tuscany Suites & Casino. 702.944.5084. tuscanylv.com)
For pub fare that’s elevated to a higher level, this welcoming venue has what you want until 2 a.m. seven days a week. If you’re with a group, the Pub Platter is the way to go, featuring four of each: chicken wings, taquitos and potato skins, as well as a side of small nachos. And you can’t miss the “locally world famous tacos” (three per order), where you get your choice of shrimp, chicken tinga and crispy Baja fish. And, as the name would imply, there’s a humongous beer list—one for each day of the year.
Pop Up Pizza (Plaza. 702.366.0049. plazahotelcasino.com)
What’s better than late-night pizza? Head downtown for some true New York-style slices until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Everything is made from scratch, and you’ll taste that secret dough recipe in every bite, from vegetarian delights like the creamy onion, spinach and mushroom and meat-lover’s beasts like the Supreme with spicy Italian sausage, capicola and pepperoni to The Vegan, featuring vegan cheese and delectable veggies.
WSKY Stadium (5625 Polaris Ave. 725.240.7652. wskystadium.com)
This isn’t just a great place to pregame events at Allegiant Stadium (only a short walk there, and you can park at WSKY Stadium to save some coin), it’s the perfect place to party the night away with great drink and food specials. One of the best sandwiches here (we would argue in town) is the Italian Grinder, piled high with salami, ham, spicy capicola, smoked provolone, red onion, banana peppers, garlic and red wine vinegar aioli on French bread. And lovers of Old-Fashioneds should try the Frey Fog, using Nevada-produced Frey Ranch bourbon, honey syrup and bitters, all finished with a “fog” of smoke.
Send Noodles (Palms. 866.942.7772. palms.com)
Who’s hungry for a wide array of Asian favorites? Order appetizers like salt and pepper calamari, tempura green beans and chicken lettuce wraps, as well as noodles like pad Thai and lo mein, until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. If you want to go a bit more substantial, Send Noodles also has a Hong Kong roasted duck (whole or half). Drink options include beer, wine, sake and hot tea.
Richie Palmer’s Mulberry Street Pizzeria of Beverly Hills (Resorts World Las Vegas. 702.676.8860. rwlasvegas.com)
If you’d rather stay on the Strip for your pizza fun, head here for New York-style slices and pies until 3 a.m. Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday. But the Italian excellence doesn’t stop there; check out the mouthwatering meatball Parmesan sub, baked ziti and eggplant Parmesan, and pair any one of them with “The Rock” margarita, also available in a souvenir cup version.

PT’s Wings & Sports (The STRAT. 702.380.7777. thestrat.com)
This sports-viewing venue features plenty of TVs for fans of every game, but once the games are over, stay awhile (up to midnight on Friday and Saturday) to enjoy appetizers, salads and burgers, not to mention a good beer and wine list. For a real treat, try the roasted poblano rajas pizza, featuring roasted poblano peppers, onion, corn, jalapeños and cream sauce, or the quesabirria street tacos, served with consomé.
NoMad Bar (NoMad Las Vegas. 702.730.6789. nomadlasvegas.mgmresorts.com)
If you’re looking for an elegant experience, this venue delivers on all the main bullet points until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy lavish surroundings while enjoying dishes like Maine lobster rolls, chicken bites and the NoMad Burger, great when paired with signature cocktails like the Gentlemen’s Exchange, made with Templeton rye, Suze bitters, Foro Amaro, vermouth di Torino, coffee, absinthe and Angostura bitters.
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar (Mandalay Bay. flankerlv.com)
Not only is this quickly becoming one of the go-to spots for sports viewing (boasting perhaps the largest screen on the Strip), it’s also a great venue for late-night drinks and dishes, open until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Some of the highlights here include shareables like ahi tuna tartare tacos and tailgate nachos with Tajín-dusted chips, sandwiches like the smoked pork dip and entrées like the New York steak and fries, which you can wash down with specialty cocktails like the High Heater with Tanteo jalapeño tequila, lime and pink grapefruit. There’s also a healthy beer list featuring both local and national award-winning labels.
Rockhouse (The Venetian. 702.731.9683. venetianlasvegas.com)
For a great combination of food, drink and live music, this all-purpose venue provides the goods until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. All your comfort-food classics are here, from loaded tater tots (beer cheese, bacon and jalapeños) and fried pickle chips with ranch dressing to chicken tenders (choice of seven dipping sauces) and chicken bacon club (also available as a wrap). Signature cocktails range from The Hook Up, made with New Amsterdam Pink Whitney lemonade vodka, amaro and lemonade, to the Vegas Hangover, made with Smirnoff blueberry vodka, fresh lemon juice, blueberries, blue Curaçao, grenadine and soda water.
Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay. 702.632.7631. mandalaybay.mgmresorts.com)
If you want your food and drink experience combined with arguably the best views of the Strip imaginable, it doesn’t get better than here, where your evening can last until 2:30 a.m. every day of the week. Here you’ll find an absolutely top-shelf food program, highlighted by dishes like chicken vindaloo tacos, vegan risotto, braised short rib and the Foundation Room salad, featuring baby romaine, grape tomatoes and goat cheese in a red wine vinaigrette. The cocktail program is equally excellent, with top-flight spirit and wine selections.

Ping Pang Pong (Gold Coast. 247.8136. goldcoast.boydgaming.com)
If dim sum is more to your liking, good news! This longtime favorite is open until 3 a.m. every day of the week, and has everything you need for the perfect Chinese cuisine experience: Pot stickers, spring rolls, lettuce cups, shrimp balls, braised beef tripes, jelly fish salad, steamed flounder, preserved egg porridge … the list is seemingly endless. You’ll probably need to plan a return trip. (Maybe tomorrow?)
Troy Liquor Bar (Golden Nugget. 702.386.8382. goldennugget.com)
Enjoy yourself far into the evening (until 3 a.m. Thursday and Sunday and until 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday) at this perfect people-watching spot while sipping on signature cocktails like the Troy Tea, a longstanding favorite made with Jameson Irish whiskey, DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps, sweet and sour and Sprite. Best of all, unlike some of the Strip’s nightclubs, bottle service won’t break your budget. Prices start in the low-$200s, and the current special—Tito’s Handmade vodka and Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut champagne—is only $299!
Siegel’s 1941 (El Cortez. 702.385.5200. elcortezhotelcasino.com)
A true all-night option, this downtown spot is open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday, and the food dining options are plentiful, especially the Big Island fried rice with Spam, carrots and peas, steakhouse shrimp cocktail with colossal shrimp in house-made sauce, and the El Cortez Burger, a half-pound, charbroiled patty, Nueske bacon and all the fixings. Don’t forget the bourbon bread pudding for dessert.

Peppermill and Fireside Lounge (2985 Las Vegas Blvd. S. 702.735.4177. peppermilllasvegas.com)
In a city where change is the norm, it’s comforting to know that some things never change. Case in point: Peppermill and Fireside Lounge, which, over its 52-year history, garnered a reputation as a 24-hour-a-day hangout extraordinaire (patrons have included Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis). It still offers original items like the Peppermill burger and French toast ambrosia, and many employees have been there decades. And a recent upgrade to its Fireside Lounge offers a reason to return—a circular sofa surrounds a new fire pit with a water feature.

Roberto’s Taco Shop
When it comes to local favorites, there are few franchises more beloved than Roberto’s Taco Shop, boasting more than 45 locations across the Las Vegas Valley. In other words, no matter where you are, odds are there’s one close by, and best of all? Most are open 24 hours a day. That means that no matter what time you stop by, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the tastiest Mexican cuisine in town, from adobada (marinated pork) and camarones rancheros (shrimp) to machaca (shredded beef). The price is always right, and the portions are enormous. See you there!
It’s a Secret!
Mas Por Favor (3879 Spring Mountain Road. 702.201.1133. masporfavorlv.com)
This Chinatown hot spot is well-known as a taqueria, but it also contains one of the coolest secrets in the entire valley. As you peruse the cool artwork on the walls, look closely for a tunnel to the side; walk through it and you’ll find yourself in a speakeasy, where the design and energy are completely different from the main dining room—a rose arch in full bloom greets you, and you can order your drinks at the Skull Bar, which is just what it sounds like. And you can keep the fun going here until 2 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Tuesday.
The Count Room (Flamingo. 702.733.3111. caesars.com)
Enter the retro vibe of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse and make your way toward the back, where this cozy speakeasy awaits to serve up some truly delicious craft cocktails. And on Friday and Saturday, enjoy live entertainment, courtesy of The Moonshiners.
Easy’s Cocktail Lounge (Aria. 702.590.8673. aria.mgmresorts.com)
Is it easy to find this speakeasy? Sorta, but we’ll still help you out. Head to Proper Eats Hall and find the Easy’s Donuts stall. Take a closer look, and you’ll notice people disappearing behind the walls. Follow them in and enjoy craft cocktails and live music.
Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den (Resorts World Las Vegas. 702.676.6979. zoukgrouplv.com)
Perhaps the hardest speakeasy to find in Vegas. At Famous Foods Street Eats, in the Fuhu Cha Chaan Teng stall, pay close attention when day turns to night. You’ll see a wall open and people entering. Get ready for a special cocktail experience!
