If you are a fan of Italian food or plant-based eating, check this out: Crossroads Kitchen founder Tal Ronnen, James Beard award-winner Rocco DiSpirito and Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio have joined forces to create a plant-based, five-course Italian dinner at the elegant Resorts World Las Vegas restaurant for one night only.
On April 17 from 5-10 p.m., indulge in such items as artichoke carpaccio, housemade foccacia, asparagus arancini, pasta nero with morel “calamari,” eggplant Milanese and croccante alle nocciole for dessert. Cost is $85 per person, and reservations are required.
If you don’t happen to score a reservation, do pop back in on another night, because Crossroads Kitchen features some of the most inventive vegan cuisine around. A spring tasting menu features four courses, with linguine scallops and eggplant short rib as the stars. And if you are more of a morning person, think about Crossroads Kitchen’s Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This buffet-style meal brings out some classic brunch dishes like chicken and waffles, bacon, pancakes plus pasta and desserts, all in a vegan format, of course.
If you can’t take advantage of one of those special menus, you will not go wrong with the daily menu. Definitely try the housemade Italian sausage, served with potatoes, onions and a tomato sauce.
