In Resorts World Las Vegas’ The District you’ll find a grove of sakura trees, with the blooms seemingly swaying on a light breeze. The entrance to FUHU is enchanting, with branches creating an arch leading to the impressive double doors and inviting patio seating. Inside, the modern décor encompasses a small dining area on one side and a fun bar on the other. In the dining area, a long window creates an open kitchen feel. Down a short corridor is the dining room with a patio facing the Strip. It’s a dynamic space, with cane-back chairs and eye-pleasing lighting throughout the area.

The menu at FUHU features a variety of dishes that represent several Asian cuisines, from Japanese to Thai. Start with one of the decadent cocktails such as the Sakura Smash, a pretty concoction mixed with Grey Goose Strawberry & Lemongrass, St-Germain, muddled strawberries and Thai basil. If you are a tequila fan, try the Heart of Fire, with serrano chili-infused Avion tequila, Dos Hombres Joven mezcal, passion fruit, honey and egg white.
Once you have secured beverages, indulge in a few small plates to start, like the black pepper beef lollipop or wagyu beef potstickers. Crispy rice comes in three varieties—wagyu, lobster and tuna. FUHU’s signature cold plates include the yellowtail tiradito (with a spicy garlic ponzu) and truffle sashimi, plus signature rolls like the Goma crab, made with mamenori, butter ponzu and kanikama. Classic rolls include California, avocado cucumber and spicy tuna, of course! If you feel particularly lucky, order the Roulette roll. Be sure to share this one, made with yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, oshinko, asparagus and soy-truffle mayo, because one slice will have extremely spicy ghost-pepper sambal, and you might not be the one to draw that piece. Might not. But no guarantees.
Mains include the crispy roast duck in half or full sizes; Kurobuta pork belly, sticky lamb chops with maitake mushrooms, sea bass, mala spiced chicken (those Szechuan peppercorns are so addictive) and seared salmon.

For red-meat lovers, FUHU presents a 16-ounce New York Strip, a 32-ounce tomahawk that has been dry-aged 45 days, or a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye. Pair those with sides like broccolini with confit garlic, signature fried rice with your choice of chicken, shrimp or beef, and baby bok choy, or the FUHU Mee, a Singapore-style Hokkien noodle dish with egg noodles, vermicelli, shrimp, chicken, calamari, crispy pork belly and lobster sauce, served with shrimp sambal.
