For a trip to Italy, look no further than Brezza in Resorts World Las Vegas, where you’ll find menus full of dishes inspired by the country's bounty. Brezza offers several menus to choose from, depending on the time of day, so whether you’re in for lunch, a midafternoon snack or a leisurely dinner, you are in luck.
Lunches here feature some dishes that are also on the dinner menu, such as the heirloom caprese with buffalo mozzarella and pesto (a Brezza fan favorite); lumache Bolognese, with a beef, pork and veal ragu; and the cappellacci oreganata with cauliflower and spinach. However, there are plenty that are only available at lunch, including margherita, pepperoni, and sausage and pepper pizzas, plus a chicken Milanese sandwich—and a 10-ounce Creekstone Farms skirt steak. You’ll find a variety of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic options.
In between lunch and dinner, you’ll find the cicchetti menu (Venetian small bites), with snacks like marinated olives, farmer’s market pickled vegetables, crispy pork skin, marinated mussels and more. That and a nice drink will see you over to dinner for sure.
Speaking of drinks, start your evening off with an Italian beer or one of Brezza’s inventive cocktails, like the barrel-aged Negroni (pictured) or a nonalcoholic Arancia spritz with Lyre’s Italian orange. Then you can catch that Italian train with veal Parmesan, herb tagliatelle, a chef’s salumi and Italian cheese plate, and other goodies. The raw bar features such items as Taylor Bay scallops, abalone, oysters and tuna tartare. Entrées include a good variety, so enjoy braised pork shank or braised short rib, plus whole fish prepared tableside.
You can also check out the steaks here, a specialty of the house, with such items as chef/owner Nicole Brisson’s dry-aged cuts taking a starring role. Brisson recently announced her own specialty aging program, Bistecca di Brisson, so locals can enjoy her hard work at home.
Cap all that goodness off with a dessert like the Olio lemon verde tart, also a specialty of the house, and a dessert wine. It’s certainly a perfect ending!
