Few cuisines bring groups together more than Chinese food. There are just so many options, flavors and combinations to choose from, and sharing everything only adds to the enjoyment. And if you are looking for one of the highest-end Chinese food experiences on the Strip, look no further than Genting Palace, where the gorgeousness of the décor is matched only by the huge array of choices, including options for vegetarians and vegans.

As you enter, you can’t help but be impressed by the black lacquer on the exterior, and as you take your seat, the green tones of the interior make you feel comfortable and ready for an unforgettable experience.
If you do decide to strike out on your own across the vast menu, we recommend starting with tantalizing appetizers like crispy vegan spring rolls with cabbage, mushrooms, carrot and sweet and sour sauce; marinated cucumber with cloud ear, garlic, wolfberry and black vinegar; and braised bird’s nest soup with Alaska crab meat in supreme broth and minced Chinese ham.
For vegetarians, options include Sichuan mapo tofu with Impossible meat, mushrooms, Sichuan peppercorn, chili, oil and scallions, crunchy vegetables highlighted by wood ear mushrooms, asparagus, carrots and jicama, and sweet and sour crisp vegetarian pork with bell peppers, onions, pineapple, mushrooms and pomelo. The dim sum menu has classics like pork and shrimp siu mai with shitake mushrooms and shrimp har gow with bamboo shoots.
For your main course, enjoy seafood options like roasted Chilean sea bass with broccoli, fried ginger, soy and scallion glaze; walnut prawns with purple cabbage, sweet aioli, dragonfruit and strawberries; and stewed whole Australian 2 head abalone and sea cucumber with bok choy in an abalone reduction.
Poultry fans won’t want to miss highlights like “Kirin-style” crisp chicken with fresh orange slices, sesame and orange sauce; three-cup chicken with basil, garlic, red chili, scallions and three-cup sauce; and traditional Peking duck, served with hoisin sauce, crepes and scallions.

If the selection has your head spinning, why not put yourself in the hands of chef Billy Cheng, who has put together a killer tasting menu? Enjoy a first course of crispy prawns with osmanthus; a second course of chilled duck salad with black truffle sauce; a third course of Maine lobster with three-cup sauce; a fourth course of braised short rib with five spices glaze and egg fried rice; and a dessert of strawberry cream, chocolate glaze, vanilla chiffon and berry sauce.
For dessert, we can’t recommend the Genting Alaska enough with its delectable blend of roasted pineapple, coconut ice cream, vanilla cake, pineapple sorbet, meringue, caramel pineapple sauce, pineapple chips and coconut snow. If you want something a bit lighter, the chai tea crème brulée is delightful with whipped cream and seasonal berries, while the apple wontons are sinfully good, thanks to the addition of vanilla gelato, cinnamon sugar and whipped cream.
And get this: Genting Palace now has a buffet option! Choose from a classic or seafood buffet from 5:30-10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday (reservations are required).
