When Dominique Ansel opened his first bakery at Caesars Palace, the impact on the Strip was immediate. All the pastry chef’s impeccable sweet, fluffy creations all in one spot, including the now-iconic Cronut? It was a recipe for success that couldn’t miss, and it didn’t; it’s been a standing-room-only hit ever since. And Ansel’s empire now includes a second location at Paris Las Vegas, Dominique Ansel Marché, where he’s expanded his horizons to include a full savory menu.
Yes, this destination features most or all of the delights you’ll find at Ansel’s original Vegas outpost, but oh, the savories! You will have your work cut out for you trying to decide between all the options here, so plan on perhaps scheduling a return visit!
Start with the sandwich portion, where you’ll find some true classics as well as a few eyebrow-raising surprises. Ham and cheese gets a boost with Gruyère and sauce gribiche (a tartar sauce-like condiment) on a croissant, while the three cheese grilled cheese uses brie, provolone and, yes, Gruyère for a satisfying bite. You’ll also find next-level French dips, Reubens and turkey BLTs, although the latter here is referred to as a “BLAT,” thanks to the addition of avocado to the bacon, lettuce and tomato combo on toasted sourdough.
The goodness continues with four different pizzas—cheese, pepperoni, caprese and carnivore—and the rotisserie and roasts section, from a succulent rotisserie chicken and turkey to garlic-roasted ribeye served with creamy Dijon horseradish sauce. If you want to go with something a bit lighter, consider the crêpe menu, where you can go savory (sliced French ham, prosciutto and rotisserie chicken) or sweet (banana caramel, macerated berries and caramelized pineapples).
Best of all? You can brunch here! Choose between the Grand Champagne for healthy appetites ($72 per person) or Marché ($37 per person) for those watching their waistline. Selections on both menus include the Perfect Little Egg Sandwich (fluffy steamed eggs and chives), lemonade or iced tea, and the option to order both the DKA (Dominique’s Kouign-Amann, a laminated pastry featuring tender and flaky layers inside and a crispy crust outside) and the chocolate chip cookie shot, where the cookie is shot glass-shaped and filled with homemade Madagascan vanilla milk.
