Every inch of the place demands your attention. Chandeliers drip from ceilings painted in Baroque florals, velvet banquettes invite lingering, and every corner offers another photo opportunity that’ll make your Insta followers jealous. It’s opulent without being stuffy, theatrical without tipping into camp. Very Vanderpump, in other words.
The menu leans French with enough familiar touchstones to keep things approachable. The truffle-stuffed Vanderpump baguette arrives like edible jewelry: triple crème brie oozing with black summer truffles, drizzled in truffle honey and dusted with pink peppercorns. The cast iron filet delivers exactly what you want it to, while the truffle mushroom pasta satisfies hungry vegetarians. And those Gruyére frites? Crispy, herbed perfection you’ll be thinking about for days.
The cocktail program deserves its own reality show. Expect theatrical presentations, house-made ingredients and drinks that taste as good as they photograph. Gather 11 of your besties for The Eiffel Tower, 12 shots of spicy hibiscus vodka, peach whiskey, blueberry vodka, black currant tequila, spicy apple tequila and mint and basil vodka. And don’t miss one of the signature cocktails, The French Poodle, which arrives as pink-poufed perfection, crowned with cupcake cotton candy and edible gold flakes, concealing gin, blackberry and rhubarb underneath. It’s extra, sure, but that’s exactly the point.
The crowd tells the story: bachelorettes clutching champagne flutes, birthday parties claiming corner banquettes, couples celebrating anniversaries that deserve something more memorable than the usual. This is where you come when the occasion calls for a little extra sparkle.
Is it over the top? Absolutely. But Vanderpump à Paris knows exactly what it is and delivers on that promise with style, flavor and plenty of drama to keep things interesting on any night of the week.
