Brunch on the Las Vegas Strip is always an event, and for one of the best, head to Lavo at The Venetian Resort, where the Endless Brunch menu has been expanded to include several new pleasant surprises.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, the brunch offers all your favorites, everything from a huge stack of Anson Mills polenta blueberry pancakes (with Harry’s Berries compote) and bacon, egg and cheese risotto to chicken Parmigiana classico and Calabrian omelets. It's best to consider the brunch dishes as family-style servings, as they are big!

And now the beloved repast has added Dubai French toast, a rich pistachio and chocolate laden dish; breakfast pizza fritti with bacon-'nduja jam, which creates almost a sauce; and a new panettone cart, showcasing the restaurant’s take on the Italian holiday bread (now a year-round brunch staple). The panettone has to be a couple of feet high, and the deconstructed tiramisu that comes forth is a delightful combination of slightly bitter espresso, mascarpone and chocolate shavings over a very generous cake slice.

There's also a huge bread station to ogle as you enter, with a dozen choices, along with mix and match spreads like white bean dip and honey butter, as well as a beautiful dessert cart. And a roving server handing out cannolis is so sweet! Cocktails do cost extra, but there are some excellent choices.
