There’s just something about half-naked women dancing to rock music that hypnotizes audiences—leaving the masses, as Billy Idol once sang, wanting “more, more, more!” Well, inside an intimate theater at the Rio, you can get your fill. “X” Rocks is a rock music romp, where classic songs provide the soundtrack for a bevy of sexy, dancing ladies, whose goal it is to bring your libido to a boiling point.
The on-point choreography and synchronized dance moves make up vignettes that include a trip back to the psychedelic era, where the ladies, dressed in panties that glow underneath black lights and tie-dyed tops (that come off quickly), groove to Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze” and The Beatles’ “Come Together.”
Poison’s power ballad “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” slows things down but gets hearts racing when two ladies peel off their lingerie to linger topless on a bed of roses, after performing an intimate dance number.
Things kick up again when the ladies plug in an oversize eight-track and Whitesnake’s “Still of the Night” comes blaring from the speakers. As the guitar wails, it sounds as if it’s begging for the ladies to peel off more, leaving only neon-pink garter belts and spiked heels in its wake. The vignettes, filled with plenty of sexual temptations, continue at a fast pace while music from Kid Rock, Led Zeppelin, Nine Inch Nails and more fuels the fires of topless heaven.
