Start the morning off with breakfast at Citizens Kitchen & Bar (Mandalay Bay, 702.693.8300). Go for the build-your-own omelets or dive into the red velvet pancakes. For a few extra bucks, order the crab cake Benedict served with breakfast potatoes. For light fare, opt for pastry with a cup of coffee. Afterwards, stroll through The Shoppes at Mandalay Place to do some window shopping—and to walk off that breakfast. Browse through souvenir shops, scope out collectibles and art, crystal jewelry, accessories and apparel.

Take a short walk to Hershey’s Chocolate World (New York-New York, 702.740.6969). Its exterior is just enough to lure you in with its gigantic-sized Hershey’s bar at the front entrance. You’ll find interactive experiences and displays throughout the two-story complex, such as the 800-pound replica of the Statue of Liberty carved from Hershey’s milk chocolate. With so much to offer, expect to spend at least an hour exploring this fun-for-all attraction.
2 p.m.
At the center of the Strip lies PBR Rock Bar & Grill (Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort, 702.750.1685). PBR Rock Bar is currently offering deals such as a free shot with the purchase of any frozen drink over 24 ounces or a free appetizer with the purchase of one entrée at full price. With a menu full of burgers and sandwiches, pizza, pastas and appetizers, you can’t go wrong. Inside or out on the patio, PBR Rock Bar provides a lively atmosphere no matter which way you dine. Just north from Planet Hollywood are The Fountains of Bellagio (702.693.7111).

On any given day, expect to hear familiar songs by iconic musicians such as Elton John, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson, and even electronic dance music star Tiësto. The fountains run every half hour during the week and every 15 minutes on weekends and on holidays. Inside Bellagio admire the beautiful greenery at the Summer Garden exhibit at the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Get there by 4:30 p.m. and enjoy musical performances daily in the South Garden until 6 p.m.
5:30 p.m.
At The Mojito Bar at Seafood Shack (Treasure Island, 702.894.7439), grab a beverage or two during happy hour. Choose from drink specials such as the $6 Sauza Hornitos margaritas on the rocks, $6 happy hour mojitos, $5 house wines by the glass and $4 beers. You can even pair your libation with bite-sized appetizers. Hurry and eat and drink up because these deals only last until 6 p.m. daily.
After happy hour, check out the world’s largest classic car showroom at The Auto Collections (The Linq Hotel, 702.794.3174). You’ll find more than 250 vehicles of all kinds, some which have deep history and interesting stories behind them. Spend a few hours checking out the vintage rides, then take a walk along The Linq Promenade, where you can get up-close views of the High Roller observation wheel.

Laughter is good for the soul, right, so why not take in a some stand-up? At the Improv at Harrah’s (702.369.5111), comedic stars take the stage each night (except Mondays).

After the show, stick around for some nightlife action with live bands and DJs at Carnaval Court, Stripside at Harrah’s.
