When Adam Carolla came aboard Loveline as co-host in 1995, the call-in relationship advice show was just beginning its national radio syndication. In the 10 years that Carolla spent as co-host, the Loveline brand expanded to radio stations around the country and a highly successful TV show. Carolla’s affable everyman persona helped make embarrassing sex questions relatable, and he’s held onto that relatability in his subsequent projects, as co-host of Comedy Central’s The Man Show, as a nationally syndicated morning radio host and, for the last seven years, as the host of the most downloaded podcast of all time.
Thanks to that success, Carolla’s built an entire brand for himself as the quintessential guy’s guy, with books, TV appearances, movies and some unlikely ventures, including Mangria, a brand of sangria marketed toward men. At Carolla’s live podcast taping in Vegas on July 8, audience members will be able to enjoy some Mangria while they listen to Carolla and his regular band of collaborators chat about the topics of the day, plus interview a surprise celebrity guest. It’s an evening of drinking and hanging out with the guys, only on a much grander scale.
