Lonestar has proven throughout two-plus decades that it has the goods. Richie McDonald, Michael Britt, Dean Sams and Keech Rainwater have reached the highest levels of fame as a country pop group and have crossed over to the mainstream as well. That success includes nine No. 1 songs on the Hot Country Songs chart. From that list, “Amazed” was the top country song of 1999; “My Front Porch Looking In” took the same honor in 2003.
Both of those songs were released after John Rich left Lonestar and became part of the mega country duo Big & Rich, proving that Lonestar could survive a major loss and still climb higher as a group. Lonestar released its 10th studio album, Never Enders, in 2016. The title track showcases a signature sound that melds the best of modern country with tinges of soft pop.
