Joe Walsh is still best known as a guitarist and keyboardist for The Eagles, but he’s had a thriving solo career both before and after joining the iconic rock band. With The Eagles disbanded following last year’s death of singer-guitarist and founding member Glenn Frey, Walsh has put a renewed focus on his solo work, including a Vegas mini-residency at the House of Blues. While the Eagles regularly played arenas and stadiums, Walsh’s Vegas shows will be much more intimate.

Walsh’s shows mix his solo hits, including rock classics like “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Life’s Been Good” and “All Night Long,” with notable Eagles songs, both tracks that originally featured Walsh on lead vocals (“In the City”) and others on which he steps up to the mic in place of his bandmates (hits like “Take It to the Limit” and “Life in the Fast Lane”). Walsh’s 2012 album Analog Man marked his first solo release in 20 years, and he’s called his current backing band “the best band I’ve played with in a long time.” He’s ready to break out again as a solo artist, and Vegas fans have the chance to witness it up close and personal.
