When the sun goes down, Strip stages become dance floors, the dominions of hip-hop heroes, hard bodies and pop divas who know how to work it. From the soaring acrobatics of Jabbawockeez and Michael Jackson ONE to the pulse-raising striptease of “X” Burlesque and Magic Mike Live, these resident productions transform theaters into parties where the music bumps, the fashion sparkles and the moves are positively thrilling.

1. Jabbawockeez

It’s been 10 years since this merry band of masked dancers won America’s Best Dance Crew, catapulting themselves into public consciousness and onto the Strip. In the years since, they’ve toured with Bruno Mars, played the NBA finals and created Jreams, a mix of break dance, acrobatics and clever choreography that’s Jabba at their best. (MGM Grand, 702.531.3826)

2. Magic Mike Live Las Vegas

The abs are solid, the chests hairless, but the choreography is where Channing Tatum’s crew truly shines. Unlike the stereotype of hunks doing stiff routines or getting creepily into themselves, the cast of this feminist male review are actual dancers, who would wow even with their clothes on. (Though where’s the fun in that?) (Hard Rock Hotel, 800.745.3000)

3. Michael Jackson ONE

The King of Pop’s greatest hits get the Cirque du Soleil treatment in this explosive show, where classic music videos are translated into over-the-top production numbers complete with grooving gangsters, trampoline theatrics and a horde of immensely talented zombies. (Mandalay Bay, 877.632.7400)

4. “X” Burlesque

While the showgirl acts of yore have packed their boas away, “X” Burlesque resurrects the striptease tradition, dancing down to heels and thongs with eye-catching numbers that use water, poles and oversized champagne glasses to very sexy effect. (Flamingo, 702.777.2782)

5. Boyz II Men

Not only do their smooth, sexy, silky voices melt hearts, the best-selling R&B group of all time has the moves to match. The Boyz break out synchronized stepping from the Motown era, while also throwing in the Roger Rabbit and Kid ’n Play when they close the show with a slew of their ’90s hits. (The Mirage, 702.792.7777)

6. Purple Reign

This homage to the late Prince (RIP) captures the essence of the Purple One, from his velvet falsetto vocals to his singular style to his sensual live performances. It’s a tribute that’s all about the love and the magnetic power of the Minneapolis artist. (Tropicana, 800.829.9034)

7. Sexxy

Veteran performer Jennifer Romas is the producer, choreographer and star of this crazy-hot topless review, taking the stage every night to lead a brigade of ladies through steamy dance numbers where they strip down to get the crowd all riled up. (Westgate Las Vegas, 800.222.5361)

8. Chippendales The Show

Your wildest fantasies come to life at this all-male revue featuring some of the hottest bodies in the world. And until May 27, Dancing With the Stars’ Tony Dovolani joins the hunks for some signature moves of his own. For ages 18 to 100, this show has something for everyone. (Rio, 702.777.2782)

9. Jennifer Lopez

Jenny from the Block is an entertainment polymath, a singing, acting, dancing example of what it looks like when someone is good at everything and gorgeous to boot. At Planet Hollywood, JLo spins, salsas, slithers, vogues and absolutely breaks it down—backwards, in heels, wearing Swarovski-studded bodysuits. (Planet Hollywood Resort, 800.745.3000)
