Las Vegas has been a bit spoiled when it comes to Elton John. Starting with his first Caesars Palace Colosseum residency, The Red Piano, in 2004, and continuing through the end of his second Caesars residency, The Million Dollar Piano, in May 2018, tourists and locals in Vegas have been able to catch the legendary singer-songwriter in concert hundreds of times. But John is now capping off his storied career with a lengthy farewell tour, and his two shows at T-Mobile Arena this week may be the last opportunity to see John perform live onstage in Vegas.

Although he’s headed into a well-deserved retirement, John is more prominent than he’s been in years, thanks to the hit biopic Rocketman, and the massively successful remake of Disney’s The Lion King, both of which have introduced John’s songs to whole new audiences. New fans and longtime admirers alike will want to experience John in concert one more time, hearing classics like “Bennie and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and many more from a performer who’s made Vegas an honorary second home.
