Paradise has been found at Flamingo’s GO Pool Dayclub. With its own sanctuary among the property’s expansive 15-acre pool and wildlife habitat, the 21-plus pool club is a welcoming environment for those looking to have some fun in the sun. GO Pool strikes a perfect balance for those that want to party hard and those that want to do nothing but wade in the cool waters or take a dip through the waterfalls.
For those looking to splurge, there are 14 cabanas and 35 daybeds available for booking. Choose from daybed spots that rest right along the pool, or choose one away from the crowds. Cabanas are stocked with sofas, fans, lounge chairs, rolled towels and HDTVs. You’ll even get your own cabana host for the day.
For some extracurricular fun, try your hand at cornhole, life-sized Jenga and beer pong. When it comes to musical entertainment, GO Pool has upped its game. Besides regularly scheduled weekly programming, guests can enjoy live concerts from popular stars throughout the season. On Friday, Sept. 7, hip-hop artist and one-fourth of the Black Eyed Peas, Taboo, gets the crowd going with a special performance. The country concert series also continues Sept. 17 with a performance by Mitchell Tenpenny.
In between live entertainment, there’s a guest DJ every day of the week playing everything from ’80s and ’90s jams to EDM and Top 40. And every day guests can take advantage of various drink specials. On Mondays, enjoy Miller Lite and Patron specials; Tuesdays mean Twisted Tea, Cruzan rum and G.H. Mumm champagne specials; Swimdustry Wednesdays celebrates local industry folk with great prices on pitchers and bottles; on Throwback Thursdays dance to old-school beats while sipping on specially priced Stoli cocktails, Miller Lite buckets and Moët Imperial champagne; Fridays, take advantage of specials on Grey Goose, Bacardi, Dom Perignon and Dos Equis buckets; and Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy drink specials throughout the day—just check with the bartenders.
