What we love about Las Vegas is it’s a town where you can let loose, push boundaries, get a lil frisky, flirty—and there’s one Las Vegas production that embraces all that and much more, Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil.

The show is an exercise in all things erotic combined with the artistry and athleticism that Cirque is so celebrated for. For example, you’ll find two lovely ladies writhing and locked in embrace as they plunge in and out of a huge bowl of water, stopping to show off their contortion and balancing skills. Then there’s the red mohawk-wearing hottie whose beautiful body fires up desire as he chains himself up and daringly flies through the theater showing off aerial artistry.

A hot, choreographed number conjures up a troupe of dancing divas with killer moves to match their killer high heels and skin-tight costumes. Like bondage and blindfolds? Then watch as the sexually daring aerialist twists, turns, tortures and takes herself to explosive heights. Vignette after exquisite vignette combines talent with tease, amorous athleticism with playfulness and passion.

During the evening, you’ll be guided through the human zoo by the Mistress of Sensuality, Edie. There’s a live band and phenomenal singers, both producing sexy sounds and powerful performances. You’ll get a kick out of the raunchy comedic offerings from the show’s swinging couple—who love to get a couple members of the audience in on the sexual shenanigans. There’s also the lovely Botero Sisters, who show you just how being voluptuously plump can be quite pleasing.

Word to the wise: Zumanity is not a show for the prudish. It pushes the envelope wide open in the most sexually spectacular ways and combines our bedroom desires with phenomenal talents. The simulated orgy happening upon what looks like a Lazy Susan of sex should give you another peek into just what level of R-rated naughtiness to expect. But as Edie warns the audience, “You can’t keep love locked in the bedroom tonight.”
