With the stress of the holiday season behind us, there's no better way to celebrate than with an evening of laughter. And at the Plaza, January begins with a bang, thanks to funnyman Tim Meadows, who gained nationwide fame as The Ladies Man on Saturday Night Live.

After a string of theatrical films (like Mean Girls and Walk Hard), the Michigan native has returned to sitcoms on the small screen. He's currently doing double duty for ABC with The Goldbergs and its companion show Schooled. And most recently, he's been hitting the late-night talk show circuit, pondering how The Ladies Man might function in today's #MeToo climate.

The improv and stand-up star takes the Plaza stage for a trio of performances. With his celebrity impersonations, hilarious characters and good-natured pokes at friends and family life, Meadows offers a great start to the New Year.

Plaza, 9 p.m. Jan. 9-11, starting at $20 plus tax and fee, 21+. 702.386.2580
