Sarah Brightman, the beautiful English soprano who was the original Christine in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera, is also a musician, songwriter, actress and dancer who has recorded music from numerous genres—disco solos, Broadway classics and inspirational melodies.

Those attending Brightman’s HYMN concert at The Smith Center will be treated to a variety of her most popular songs along with selections from the album from which the concert is titled.

Brightman recorded the album in 2018 and has said she wanted it to be “uplifting.” This, her 15th album, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s classical and classical crossover charts.

This comes as no surprise since she is one of the best-selling sopranos in the world and has garnered triple digit gold and platinum awards internationally. She also teamed with Andrew Bocelli for the awesome duet “Time To Say Goodbye,” which sold 12 million copies worldwide. In addition, the multitalented Brightman has the ability to sing in 11 different languages as well as English.

Making the tour even better, French tenor Vincent Niclo and Romanian countertenor Narcis have joined Brightman for the show.
