Fashion Forward

The Hollywood Reporter recently published an extensive conversation with Gwen Stefani looking back on her long career in fashion. It’s been 15 years since the pop starlet launched her L.A.M.B. brand and infused her colorful, creative perspective into runway shows and popular apparel. “I look back and realize that by its nature, fashion is always progressing,” she said. “You can’t hold it one place or stand still. I learned to be very open because you’re always evolving; that’s what fashion is, too. Another collection, another season. It doesn’t get old.”

The same approach could be applied to Stefani’s musical history, and she gets to tell that story at Zappos Theater when she returns to her Just A Girl residency at Planet Hollywood Feb. 27 and March 1-16.

All The Vegas: Jennifer Romas

“I feel like our show is different and that doesn’t make it better or worse necessarily, but it’s different. I’m not the producer or choreographer that gets to set it and make the decisions and then walk away from it, go home and have a glass of wine. I live in what I create. It’s an extension of any producer but it’s really an extension of me, every single night. And my team has to be on. I want to be proud of what I’ve created and proud to step into what I created.”
