Mystère was the first permanent Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas. More than 25 years later, this quintessential Vegas show makes the perfect starter Cirque show because it includes every classic element the company has become known for.

Gravity-defying acrobatics? Check. Oscar-worthy costumes and set design? Yes. Acts that challenge the bounds of what you think is possible from the human body? You better believe it: Mystère has it all.

Not only does Mystère feature unbelievable feats of strength and agility like its hand-balancing act, they’re also some of the most unique, unlike anything else you’re likely to see on the Las Vegas Strip, or elsewhere.

The Chinese pole act has been a part of the show since its inception and is no less impressive a quarter century later as skilled acrobats spring from vertical poles in Gumby-like fashion. Other highlights include the teeterboard, trapeze and trampoline, all of which launch acrobats across the revolving stage.

Aside from the mind-blowing acrobatics, Mystère is also known for its heart-pounding live music, punctuated by intense taiko drums and powerful vocals.
