Judging by the continuing success of Florida Georgia Line, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have transcended the bro-country era since emerging in 2012 with smash hit “Cruise” and have become fixtures of country music superstardom. The duo’s crossover anthem with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” was omnipresent in 2018, a year that Kelley and Hubbard capped off with their Florida Georgia Line Live From Las Vegas residency. They’re back at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for four dates in November, hot off the heels of finishing a tour in support of their Top 5 album Can’t Say I Ain’t Country.
Their knack for combining the sounds of Travis Tritt and Tupac while flowing lyrically like Jay Z listening to Alabama in the boombox has paid off handsomely to the point where Kelly and Hubbard headlined their own festival in September at Indianapolis Speedway. They proved they’re born showmen in Vegas, providing patrons in the back seats with as good of a show as fans in the front row witness. They’ll be back on tour with Kenny Chesney next year, but their return to the Strip is the last time fans can catch them live in 2019.
