Although hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch first came together in L.A. in 2005, the members began relocating to Las Vegas in 2008, just as the band’s popularity was starting to grow. Since then, 5FDP has become one of the most successful acts in mainstream rock, and one of the few bands to have risen to arena-rock status in the last decade, as guitar-driven rock music has been on the decline in pop culture. Singles “Coming Down,” “Lift Me Up,” “Battle Born” and “Wash It All Away” have all topped Billboard’s mainstream rock charts, and 5FDP has been a staple of rock radio for the past decade.
Since moving to Las Vegas, the band members have supported local charities, businesses and musicians, all while maintaining an international touring schedule. 5FDP’s latest album, 2018’s And Justice for None, debuted at the top of the Billboard rock and hard rock album charts, and at No. 4 on the overall Billboard 200.
The band’s current tour is playing in arenas in cities across the U.S. and Europe, but hometown Vegas fans can see them in the relative intimacy of the Joint, just one more advantage to having one of the world’s biggest rock bands calling Sin City home.
