Three distinct musical styles come together for an unforgettable evening of music when Rancid hits the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, accompanied by Pennywise and The English Beat.

Rancid, pictured, continues to carry the banner of West Coast punk and beyond as one of the most vital acts ever in the genre, and has transcended it with classics like “Fall Back Down” and “Ruby Soho.”

Pennywise is best known for “Bro Hymn,” an aggressive West Coast punk anthem with a gnarly bass line, first dedicated to fallen friends of the band, then re-recorded in honor of bassist Jason Thirsk after his death. It’s a favorite with crowds, who mosh and chant “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa …” at the top of their lungs.

The English Beat, the new wave outfit led by Dave Wakeling, created some of the catchiest songs of the 1980s including “I Confess,” “Mirror In The Bathroom” and “Save It For Later.” Wakeling, a constant joy of a frontman, will have the audience skanking with the same enthusiasm throughout his set.
