One of the Las Vegas Valley’s most entertaining indoor racing experiences just got a whole lot more exciting. Pole Position Raceway, which challenges riders to get the best times on a quarter-mile track in electric karts, has added Omni Arena by Virtuix, a virtual-reality experience.
The built-in staging area set up with unique 360-degree motion platforms will make players feel like they’re entering whole new worlds without ever leaving the platform. Games include Blackbeard (you’re a pirate, of course), Elite Force, in which you fight in a combat arena, or VRZ, where you take on hordes of hungry zombies.
All this in addition to the thrills you’ll experience on the track, where your kart can reach speeds of up to 45 mph. And, of course, the staff of Pole Position is working tirelessly to keep the experience safe, including helmet sanitization and reduced building capacity. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
