The perfect, swank space to slip inside and relax, unwind and spark up a stogie, Montecristo Cigar Bar allows guests the pleasures of an upscale lounge while ensuring guest safety with a state-of-the-art ventilation system.
Spread over 4,000 square feet, the space has a masculine feel but welcomes all to kick back and enjoy its different seating areas. There’s The Library with a 208-inch video wall displaying sports; The Courtyard with a faux-outdoor, secret-garden feel; and the private, 10-seat Vault Room that can be reserved for cigar, whiskey and dinner pairings.
Those that visit Montecristo for its cigar selection will light up, figuratively and literally, when checking out the 400-square-foot humidor, one of the largest in the city, that can store up to 1,000 cigars. Brands include the namesake Montecristo, Romeo Y Julieta, H. Upmann, Padron, Ashton Symmetry, Henry Clay Brevas and the No. 1-ranked Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado cigar. Guests can ask the experts for cigar and spirit pairing as well, like the Avion Reserva 44 tequila with a Padron 1964 Torpedo Maduro cigar or the Ashton Symmetry Prism cigar paired with a glass of Caesars Palace’s own specially bottled Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select whiskey.
Feel like royalty when you order the Louis XIII Perfect Pour—this smooth-like-silk, top-shelf cognac is served tableside in crystal Riedel glassware. The famous spirit takes more than 100 years to craft by four generations of cellar masters from The House of Remy Martin.
Montecristo Cigar Bar also offers an extensive cocktail menu filled with more than a dozen classic and specialty cocktails. Then there’s the long list of whiskeys: Irish, Japanese, Canadian, Scottish, Scotch-whiskey blends, Tennessee whiskey, bourbon, American whiskey and 1-ounce pour flights for those that want to explore. It’s not all brown spirits, though—the menu also includes a nice selection of vodkas, rums, mezcals and gins.
For those that visit and sit inside Montecristo, it should be noted that you’ll be required to order food. The small bites menu offers meat and cheese boards and a classic shrimp cocktail. Or, between 5 and 10 p.m., order delectable bites from the menu of next-door property favorite, Old Homestead Steakhouse.
