Lovers of fine art will be happy to learn that one of the Las Vegas Strip’s premier exhibition spaces, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, has finally reopened, and celebrates its reopening with a stunning collection.

Always More: Collecting in Las Vegas features pieces shared by passionate Las Vegas art collectors—some of which are being shown publicly for the first time ever. The list of collectors reads like a who’s who of Las Vegas notables: Ralph DeLuca, Jill and Frank Fertitta, Teresa and Lorenzo Fertitta, Robin and Danny Greenspun, Hunter Campbell, Dana and Greg Lee, Sandee and Tito Tiberti, and Elaine Wynn.

Works include 20th century and contemporary art by artists including Diane Arbus, Ross Bleckner, Cecily Brown, George Condo, Takashi Murakami, James Nares, Helmut Newton, Pablo Picasso, Richard Prince, Robert Rauschenberg, Kazuo Shiraga and more. One notable piece, pictured above, is “Battitude” by Joyce Pensato, part of the Ralph DeLuca collection.

The exhibition is co-curated by executive director of MGM Resorts Art & Culture Tarissa Tiberti and Las Vegas-based private art advisor and strategist Heather Harmon. “Las Vegas is a city rooted in history and culture,” Tiberti said in a statement. “Art has been and continues to be an essential part of that story. At MGM Resorts, we value the fact that art is truly part of our DNA, and we strive to achieve a cohesive blend of entertainment, culture and luxury for our visitors. Showcasing our community and its collections seemed to be a great opportunity for the reopening of Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.”

The exhibition will close on February 15, 2021. In compliance with social distancing guidelines, masks are required at the gallery, and distancing reminders will be placed throughout. Also, exhibition brochures will not be printed out—guests may view the brochure online.
