He’s one of the most influential figures in the history of Las Vegas, and now Steve Wynn’s Summerlin home is for sale. It’s certainly not cheap, but it’s definitely a showcase we couldn’t wait to display in the pages of Las Vegas Magazine.

Wynn’s home was recently renovated by Forté Specialty Contractors, a Las Vegas-based design build construction company that has worked across the globe and here in Las Vegas. “Luxury homeowners want experience and excellent craftsmanship,” said Scott Acton, CEO and founder of Forté Specialty Contractors. “Given our roots are based in creating experiences—everything from building the kitchen at Hell’s Kitchen to designing parts of the spa at the Wynn and more—meeting the needs of the luxury housing market is a natural evolution for us. We are known for tackling the hard-to-do projects and building them faster with a higher level of quality and precision. This is all part of the craftsmanship that luxury homeowners expect. Our clients love it.”

Their work has turned an already amazing home into something truly special. The 20,000-square-foot, European-style villa has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Forté’s work on the home includes more than 700 square feet of space, a state-of-the-art media room, wine closet and den that can double as a children’s playroom.

The home’s charms are apparent from the minute you walk in the door, thanks to a dramatic front entryway stairs and back staircase, both leading to a second-level owner’s suite and three guest bedrooms. Each bedroom contains a full or Juliet balcony (with views of the picturesque TPC golf course). His and hers chambers are featured in the owner’s suite, with both dressing rooms containing full closets with Hermès-inspired drawer pulls. The men’s side has a custom shower with exposed stainless steel plumbing—it makes you feel like you’re on a luxury yacht. The women’s side includes a salon-style bathroom complete with a hair-washing station. Each guest bedroom has a three-quarter bath and motion sensor walk-in closets. Talk about feeling pampered.

Wait until you see the kitchen! In addition to two Wolf stovetops, two microwaves and two full-size refrigerators, there’s a second kitchen (also called a butler’s pantry) through a secret door that leads straight into the dining room, framed by French doors and providing amazing views of the Summerlin landscape.

But don’t spend too much time indoors here—the exterior is as stunning as the interior, with a European-style outdoor sanctuary featuring a fountain, gazebo, pool, spa and English garden with artificial grass. Don’t worry about the summer heat, as travertine stone has been added, along with slip-resistant grit stone, around the pool.

“Steve Wynn’s vision for his homes is much like his vision for his casinos. Our innovative project team created the atmosphere in the Wynn residences, bringing the extravagant sensation of Las Vegas into the home with the highest quality of construction and in a record amount of time,” Acton said.
