Musical Intimacy

Don’t miss the landmark musical production Barry Manilow: The Hits Come Home! at the Westgate International Theater. It’s back March 5-7 and 26-28, and Manilow has plenty of dates booked in April, May and June as well.

The legend continues to get cozier in this current run and his show really makes this classic showroom his home. While it’s a fan-pleasing set packed with his most recognizable work and lots of storytelling explaining the emotions behind the music, Manilow continues to craft new songs and recordings.

He’s currently working on Night Songs II, a romantic follow-up to his 2014 collection of beloved cover tunes. The first release from the new album is “My Funny Valentine,” demonstrating another of Manilow’s talents: his ability to interpret classics in a way that really resonates.

Must-See: RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!

The new resident production at the Flamingo is powered by the same joyous celebration of individuality that made its TV version an international phenomenon, but you don’t have to be a fan or follower of RuPaul’s Drag Race to appreciate and enjoy RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! in Las Vegas. Directed by RuPaul and longtime collaborator Jamal Sims, the vivid stage spectacular features competing queens showing their skills in lip-sync, on the dance floor and on the runway, bolstered by stunning sets and a booming soundtrack of original music. Catch it at 9:30 p.m. nightly except Monday and Wednesday.

Around the Strip

Las Vegas resident Jonathan Scott of Property Brothers fame knows how to pick his spots. He took superstar girlfriend Zooey Deschanel to The Mayfair Supper Club at Bellagio for a Valentine’s Day dinner and show. Also at Mayfair on the most romantic night of the year: UFC lightweight Anthony Pettis and fiancée Lisette Gadzuric.

Randy Couture

Another fighter was out on the town as UFC legend Randy Couture was spotted at Atomic Saloon Show at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and The Palazzo with son Ryan.

Comedian and actor Dane Cook took girlfriend Kelsi Taylor to dinner at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer at The Venetian for burgers and CrazyShakes.

The Single & Mingle party at On the Record at Park MGM attracted a slew of reality TV stars. Spotted celebrating were Daniel Maguire and Kamil Nicalek from The Bachelor, Nicholas Maccarone, Kat Dunn and Corey Brooks from Big Brother, Scheana Shay from Vanderpump Rules and Paul Calafiore from The Challenge. Nicalek, Maguire, Maccarone and Dunn also hit The Cosmopolitan to catch hit comedy show Opium, and several members of the group dined at Beauty & Essex before mixing it up at Tao Nightclub at The Venetian.

NBA All-Star Weekend was held in Chicago, but several hoop stars hit Vegas instead. Norman Powell of the Toronto Raptors visited Lavo’s party brunch after partying at Drai’s the previous night. And the Phoenix Suns’ Aron Baynes caught Opium at Cosmo.
