Terry Fator is the king of headliners at The Mirage, the Strip's pre-eminent puppet master and impressionist, having brought more than a dozen felt-covered characters to life and cultivated his array of vocal styles since childhood. Having started as a ventriloquist at age 10, Fator nearly gave up his chosen performing art when America's Got Talent provided an opportunity that changed his life. He auditioned with his impression of "At Last" by Etta James, which would become a tour de force segment of his Mirage residency.

Of course, he couldn't become a success without help. There's his main sidekick Winston, a talking turtle. Walter T. Airdale pulls the show in a country direction, while dude-speaking Duggie makes sure there's "party on" vibe at the show. Maynard Thompkins is Fator's personal Elvis impersonator, but puppets resembling Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney, Elton John, David Bowie and Justin Bieber demonstrate Fator's range as well as his sense of humor.

The Mirage, 7:30 p.m. Mon.-Thurs. (dark through Jan. 12 & 16), 9 p.m. show only Jan. 13-14, starting at $59.99 plus tax and fee, 5+. 702.792.7777
