Not only is She Ready!, but apparently they are ready for her. The "she" in this instance is Tiffany Haddish, the outrageous comedian who seemingly never holds back as evidenced in her first stand-up special, the long-titled Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From The Hood To Hollywood. The "they" who are ready for her refers to the worldwide audience that has embraced her on the stage and the screen.
While Haddish has become a mainstream star just in the last few years, mainly due to her breakout performance in the 2017 film Girls Trip, she has been working regularly in film and television since the mid-2000s. Some of her greatest hits include her recurring roles on Real House Husbands of Hollywood and The Carmichael Show.
Of course, now she is a bonafide A-lister, and her projects include leading roles in films like The Kitchen, the upcoming Like A Boss and as the host and producer of the reboot of the beloved TV series Kids Say The Darnedest Things. She hits Las Vegas on Jan. 18.
Haddish was the first black female comedian to host Saturday Night Live, and her turn there earned her an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Not only is she ready, but the uproarious Haddish is making the most of it.
