The safest bet one could ever have made was that a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and The Beatles would be a hit. However, that smash, The Beatles LOVE, continues to evolve, never resting on its dual pedigree and always trying to reach new heights.

While there are plenty of air-bending acrobatics in LOVE, the star of the show is the music by “The Fab Four,” probably the most influential rock ’n’ roll band of all time. Curated and sequenced by Sir George Martin, the original producer of The Beatles, and his son, Giles Martin, the soundtrack features 27 musical pieces culled together from 120 Beatles samples from The Beatles’ Apple Corps Limited vaults.

It is a tapestry that propels the entire show, which is an artistic interpretation of the Beatles journey, from pub band to worldwide superstars, all ending in a fantasy reunion of the group on the LOVE stage. The music gives way to the costumes, wildly creative riffs on the band in their different periods—from the simple mod style suits of “I Want To Hold Your Hand” to the psychedelic carnival of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band.” Add to this the stunning aerial and stage acts, plus a fantastic set design and LOVE is a hit worthy of Cirque du Soleil and The Beatles.
