We missed a lot of things during the lengthy Las Vegas Strip shutdown, but maybe nothing more than live music. Well, it’s back! And there’s plenty of options you can now enjoy, along with some great cocktails.
For an assortment of live music, head to the Piano Bar at Harrah’s. The songs of Elvis come alive through singer Big Elvis every Friday and Saturday. After him, the sounds of Saxman entertain, and the Dueling Pianos performers close out the evening (they also perform Sundays.)
For more dueling piano sounds, check out The Bar at Times Square at New York-New York. Sing along to classic and modern hits and make some requests as the two piano players battle it out Friday through Sunday. For more of a subdued but equally impressive piano experience, head to Bellagio’s Petrossian Bar.
Want to do some dancing while listening to bands playing rocking cover songs? Le Cabaret at Paris welcomes guests back to its open-walled venue every Friday and Saturday evening. There’s also a bar attached so you can add some cocktails to the experience. For similar, casual fun, Indigo Lounge at Bally’s also invites guests to dance and drink while listening to live bands every Friday and Saturday night.
For sexy, upscale surroundings, settle in at the NoMad Bar at NoMad Las Vegas every Friday and Saturday evening to listen to performers singing and playing jazz-infused and yacht rock-type music.
For a variety of live music and entertainment, check out Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at The Cosmopolitan. While it’s mainly a supper club, it’s a great place for grabbing some cocktails. You can enjoy all types of talent: singing, beatboxing, tap dancing, musical duets and aerial performances. It all happens Thursday through Saturday evenings. Also on property is the speakeasy-type space, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails. Yes, there’s actually a barbershop, but through the janitor’s door you can slip inside a swank lounge for some live music and classic cocktails. Beginning at 10:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, bands take the small stage and play everything from jazz and bluegrass to folk and rock music.
Music is back in Vegas, baby!
