Believe me when I say that Las Vegas has some of the most beautiful sunsets. And now there’s a new way to enjoy said sunsets—Crimson at Sundown at Red Rock Resort. This 21-and-over, outdoor poolside lounge offers guests a chance to enjoy the comfortable fall temps while sipping on specialty cocktails and light bites.

Reserve a daybed for you and three friends, or go ultra-deluxe and reserve a cabana with up to seven friends. Table and lounge seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis under the setting sun and twinkling bistro lights that create a canopy across the lounge. Wherever your party parks, beautiful views and chilled music help set the scene for drinking and dining.

Crimson at Sundown offers perfectly themed, refreshing signature cocktails like the Tropical Margarita with Avion silver tequila, Red Bull Tropical, and passionfruit and lime juices. Or opt for the Strawberry Basil Punch with Absolut Juice Strawberry vodka, fresh basil, strawberries and lemon juice, or the Wildflower Sangria with Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom vodka, Lillet Blanc, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lemon and white wine. Golden Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. offers half-off various beer buckets and half-price bottles of prosecco and rosé.

For an even more refreshing treat, go with one of the “PopTails,” handmade spiked popsicles in flavors like Paloma, Strawberry Daquiri, Negroni Sbagliato and Peach Bellini. Guests can also choose to have the popsicles served inside a glass of sparkling rosé, prosecco or, for a quick energy boost, inside any of the Red Bull flavors.

The small bites menu (guests are required to order food) includes yummy delights like cheesy house-made tater tots, French fries, lobster rolls, ahi tuna tacos and the indulgent Seafood Jackpot tower. For something sweet, options include a tres leches cake, spiked cotton candy and strawberry shortcake.

If conversation or some flirting isn’t enough to get you through the evening, Crimson offers some vintage fun by bringing in coin-operated arcade games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and the infamous “claw” machine.

While the lounge is situated poolside, swimming is not encouraged. Instead, don your cutest or slickest outfits and get ready for a bit of Las Vegas nightlife enchantment that this city is so happy to welcome back. Oh, and those sunsets!
