Circa Resort & Casino, the long-awaited downtown hot spot built by The D owner Derek Stevens, opened today to massive fanfare and excited crowds. The adults-only property promises to be a must-visit destination for fans of great food and the finest accommodations.

Dining-wise, the centerpiece of Circa is undoubtedly Barry’s Downtown Prime, a restaurant headed up by chef Barry S. Dakake, well-known to fans of the former N9NE Steakhouse at The Palms.

As Dakake explained to Las Vegas Magazine’s Kiko Miyasato, his restaurant is for absolutely everyone: “Everyone feels comfort in a steakhouse. Most of the people know they can go into a steakhouse and the menu is going to be great. My steakhouse—there’s something for everyone on my menu, from a child to an adult, to whatever flavor you’re looking for. From meat, fish, vegetarian, gluten-free, pastries. If you come into my restaurant and you can’t find something that you don’t like, shame on me! And, if you can’t find it, you can ask and I can make it!”

Also open at Circa are Victory Burger, a sports bar with great wings and specialty burgers, and 8 East, featuring the food of metropolitan Asian food markets like wontons, skewers and dumplings.

Circa also features the largest sports book in the world, highlighted by a three-story, high-definition screen that can play as many as 24 sportings events at a time. It can seat 1,000 patrons, and is sure to be packed during major sporting events.
