For more than seven years, the Life is Beautiful festival helped change the footprint of downtown Las Vegas. In 2013, its organizers joined the efforts to help revitalize an oft-overlooked area by bringing a multiday celebration of music, food and art to more than a dozen city blocks. In the years following, the festival was expanded to three days and continued to leave a lasting impression on the city and its community.

Life is Beautiful made its mission clear early on: “The chance to get a lot of creative minds together and create something new for Vegas and the festival space,” said Craig Asher Nyman, head of music and live performances for the festival. “If you take it back to the beginning of Life is Beautiful, everything was built around providing fans with a sense of acceptance, inclusion, wanting you to go out and chase your dreams.”
