The reopening of the Las Vegas Strip is nearly complete, as Caesars Entertainment announced that Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will reopen Oct. 8.
The only CET properties yet to reopen in Las Vegas are The Cromwell and Rio.
Planet Hollywood will be open for weekend stays—Thursday through Sunday—and its gaming floor will be open seven days a week. In addition, the resort will debut its newly branded William Hill Race & Sports Book, featuring new customer offerings like self-service sports betting kiosks and an expanded betting menu featuring LIVE InPlay Wagering.
“Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is the centerpiece of the famed Las Vegas Strip, and we are pleased to announce the reopening of the hotel for weekend stays, along with gaming, restaurants and other amenities, at this resort on Oct. 8,” said Senior Vice President and Planet Hollywood General Manager Jason Gregorec in a prepared statement. “We look forward to welcoming guests back with a continued emphasis on our enhanced health and safety protocols.”
Other amenities that will open along with Planet Hollywood include the following restaurants: Gordon Ramsay Burger, Chick-fil-A, Strip House, Earl of Sandwich, Café Hollywood, Heart Bar, Extra Lounge and Starbucks.
The Planet Hollywood Spa by Mandara will reopen, as will shops like PH 24 and PH Need It.
